About Us

Nitin (Tintin) Bangalore

Raised in India, I navigated my way through my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, always feeling somewhat disconnected from the prescribed path I was walking. My innate curiosity and a need for purpose led me to stumble upon Experiential Education.

During my days as a software engineer, I moonlighted as an outdoor guide, leading hikes around my hometown, Bengaluru. This experience sparked my fascination with the outdoors not just as an escape, but as a powerful platform for self-discovery. What intrigued me most about Experiential Education was its ability to empower individuals to find answers for themselves, guided and supported by a facilitator.

In my role as a facilitator, I’m an eager questioner. I assist people in making meaning from their experiences and applying those insights to their lives, helping to establish actionable steps towards building habits and systems. This approach resonates with me deeply; I believe strongly in the power of self-realization over predetermined solutions.

My vision is to learn and grow every day so that I can empower others to find their best selves. I believe in the power of kindness - for ourselves and for others. We are all on our own journeys, doing the best we can, and kindness often provides the strength needed to push forward.

Beyond my professional work with Optimum Experiences in NSW, Australia, my passions allow me to connect with people and myself more authentically. Whether it's woodworking or climbing, these experiences quiet my overthinking, allowing me to immerse myself in the present moment and strive for a sense of personal progression.

I'm endlessly curious about people and their uniqueness. This curiosity drives my passion for understanding people dynamics, leading me to constantly seek best practices that I can incorporate into my own life. Every person presents an opportunity for learning, provided we stay open-minded and allow our guards to come down.

My passion for self-development and supporting others started when I was 20. I had just worked my first leadership development program for high schoolers and it opened my eyes to what was possible for my professional life. Before that, much of my education and career outlook was walking the typical path, but I never felt fully connected to what I was studying at The University of Alabama or the careers I was considering in management consulting or finance.

So after graduating, I headed to Massachusetts to work a minimum wage job doing what I loved and making a positive impact. Since then, I have relocated to Los Angeles to continue pursuing meaningful work, furthered my education, and have begun sharing more of my development journey online. Currently, I serve as Pepperdine University Human Resources' Assistant Director of Employee Engagement, leading the strategic design and delivery of the University's Health and Wellness Programming and Learning and Development for all faculty and staff.

I hold a B.S. from The University of Alabama and an M.S. in Organizational Psychology from the University of Southern California. During the summers, I serve as a Student Administrator for the Foundation for Teaching Economics, delivering experiential leadership activities and lectures to high school seniors as they prepare for the next step in their lives and careers.

My passion is for improving the environments where I stand and ensuring people understand their immense value and worth. When not working, I love spending time with friends and family, being outside hiking, biking, or at the beach.
